How does it work?

Both solutions work by breaking down the fat cell membranes, over 24h with Lemon Bottle and over 7 days with Aqualyx. This releases the contents of the fat cells to be disposed of naturally through urine over the course of 1-2 weeks. As a result, the remaining cells reconfigure and the fat pad itself becomes smaller.

What should I expect from my treatment?

Once the skin has been prepared correctly, the clinician will draw injection points on the area. Using very fine needles they will inject the solution into the adipose tissue. This is usually painless, with some mild discomfort depending on the injected area. Afterwards, the clinician will clean the area again and massage the solution to ensure even dispersion and you may resume your daily activities.

How many sessions will I need?

Sessions will vary per individual needs, will depend on the size of the area treated and the amount of solution used. Typically, for the double chin, you should expect anything from 2-4 sessions and the body anything between 3-5 sessions for optimal results.

Are the results permanent?

Once the fat cells have been dissolved, the result is permanent. It is important to maintain a healthy lifestyle if you wish to maintain your results. This treatment is a body contouring method and should not be used instead of healthy weight loss.

Am I a good candidate?

If you are at your ideal weight, with a healthy BMI, and struggle with a genetically stubborn area that does not budge through normal weight loss, then you are ideal for this treatment. Please note that pregnant and breastfeeding clients cannot have this treatment.

Are there any side effects?

With Lemon Bottle you will experience a temporary enlargement of the area due to the amount of solution being injected. This must not be mistaken for swelling as it resolves in 4-6 hours. Some mild bleeding may happen due to the needle pricks into the skin, and in some cases bruising may be visible. This can be prevented by avoiding caffeine, alcohol and anti-inflammatory medication 24h either side of the treatments. Some temporary tenderness may be present.

With Aqualyx, you may experience a heat sensation for up to 48hours and blotchiness of the skin for up to 7 days. The area will be swollen for up to 7 days. Some mild bleeding may happen at the injection sites, and bruising may also be present which will naturally resolve in a week or so. This can be prevented by avoiding caffeine, alcohol and anti-inflammatory medication 24h either side of the treatments. Tenderness may last up to 2 weeks.

How often can I have this treatment?

Aqualyx can only be injected at 4 weeks intervals. Lemon Bottle can be injected at 10 day intervals.
